" Ripleys, set in Peru, was a collaborative group retail
project. I, and one other colleague, were nominated as the
team project managers. The project entailed Cosmetics,
Menswear, Women's Boutique, Accessories, Fragrance,
Lingerie, and Home Departments. Part of my responsibility
included facade and signage development, drive
aisle/egress supervision between
departments, time-management of the entire class, 3D
model and design of atrium and construction documents.
The inspiration for Ripleys drew from the natural and
organic elements that are depicted in Peru's
landscape. The concept "Reflections of Departure"
developed off of Ripley's frequent traveling client
base." |
